Jane McGrath Cast

So it looks like another actress has joined the cast in season 4 of Game of Thrones.  Jane McGarth confirmed her involvement in the upcoming season in an interview with IFTN.

“Do you have any other upcoming roles you can tell us about?
At the moment, I’m up and down to Belfast on ‘Game of Thrones’. I’m not even allowed to talk to my friends about it and can’t be giving anything away! My character is beyond the Wall and it was stunning. When you’re on set you feel like you’re actually there. It’s incredible!

Are you a Wildling?
Yes, I’m a Wildling!”

So who could she be then?  I have a few Wildling’s in mind that she could be playing.  Unfortunately like always they fall under the spoiler section.

SPOILERS AHEAD!!! DO NOT PASS IF YOU HAVEN’T FINISHED A STORM OF SWORDS!!!

My first thought is either Val or Dalla.  Possibly even a combination of the two characters, since Dalla doesn’t really do all that much, aside from giving birth and dying from it.  Now Jane doesn’t fit the physical description of either Val or Dalla, but I have just totally stopped allowing that being a requirement when casting a minor characters.  I mean does anyone remember the casting job they did with Dagmer Cleftjaw?

My second idea would be one of Crasters daughters.  Since we are going to be seeing a new perspective at Crasters Keep, with the news of Burn Gorman and Luke Barnes both returning, why not cast an actress to play a larger role as one of Crasters wife/daughter.

So what do you think?  Is Jane going to be Val or Dalla, or a new characters at Crasters Keep?
